July 2011

Megan had fun at Girl's Camp!

Emma and I painted our nails (with pink and glitter)
outside on the grass of our front yard while waiting
for the Stadium of Fire show on July 2nd.

We also did some of our own fireworks.

We enjoyed the 4th of July in CA boating on
Lake Berryessa, and had a week of fun with
Grandma and Grandpa!
Joshua and Eddie had fun on the rope swing.
Emma helped drive the boat :)
Joshua was great on the wakeboard - even jumped
the wake once, but fell.

Eddie on the single ski
Megan and I had fun!
Joshua and Megan had a war!

Grandma showed us Tilden Park - the small
train ride was fun.

We enjoyed Stinson Beach - the water was a bit
cold, though.
Emma got her toes wet.
What a cute "Big Bro" with his li'l sis :)

Riding horses at "R" Ranch - here's Joshua - his
horse was stubborn, and ended up going the wrong
way, following the wrong group of horses.
Here's Megan - her horse got really mad and
almost bucked her off during her ride!
Here's Zachary on Daisy, the stubborn mule!
We had a lot of fun swimming at "R" Ranch, too -
Emma borrowed this floater and loved it!

We had fun touring San Francisco.
Baker's Beach was even colder than Stinson Beach,
so we didn't go in - you can barely see the Golden
Gate Bridge behind us that we drove over earlier.

We had fun at a Giants game where the missionaries
sung the National Anthem, some Mormon heros were
acknowledged, and there was a large LDS group there.

We enjoyed the large Coke slides at the game.

We had to try box sliding on the hills behind
Grandma's house - I used to do this a lot as a kid,
but this time the sliding wasn't very good.

Beautiful sunset! (back in UT)

We had fun on Steph's birthday with a weenie
roast up in the canyon!

We had fun petting animals at the Pioneer Day
Activity at the park - here's "my little bunny"
with a real bunny.
We had a fun wagon ride pulled by a 4-wheeler.

We had a fun trip to Park City where the kids
enjoyed the Alpine Slide - on Monday after Pioneer
Day, which was a holiday.

We had a fun bbq at the cousins' house and then
did fireworks with them on Monday night.

This is Emma's second bike ride - she likes
riding in the bike trailer! She has no teeth
and doesn't crawl, but she does say "ma ma"
and lots of babbling, and makes kissy noises!

Joshua and Megan also had fun at Lagoon with
some friends on July 26th!

June 2011

Emma at 9 months wearing an outfit from Cameo
and James - so cute and it finally fits her and is good
enough weather to wear it - thank you!

We love 7 Peaks, and Emma really enjoys the
wave pool there!

Emma's first ride in a shopping cart - this was
a fun one!

Eddie went to Budapest, Vienna and Prague with
a couple reporters from BYU's Daily Universe - they
reported on the BYU dance team performing there.
This picture was of a Hungarian bath house in Budapest.
Here's Eddie on the Chain Bridge over the Danube
River in Budapest.

We had a Father's Day barbecue at the cousins'
house - celebrating with Pop-Pop.

Since Eddie was in Europe on Father's Day, we
celebrated when he got back a week later.

Joshua, Eddie, and Pop-Pop all helped move his
Eagle Scout project benches to the Girl's Camp -
the day before the first camp started, which happened
to be Megan's group!
Joshua's benches are much better than the old ones!

We sold our old house! At least, it's under contract
to sell by the end of July. It's been a lot of working
fixing it up after we had tenants, but it's been
worth it! We've also been working on getting Mom's
house ready for the new tenants - whew, what a lot
of work this month!!!
