Zachary earned Arrow of Light

Zachary was done with Webelos and earned his Arrow of Light,
and has now graduated from Cub Scouts

Eddie got a Faculty Appreciation Award at BYU - even our family
was featured on the program!

Zachary won an award for a house he drew for a contest called "What Home Means to Me."
(Too bad his picture wasn't shown here - I'll have to go to the hospital and see if it's displayed there.)
He and the other winners were featured on Fox 13 News - this is a photo of our TV with
Zachary and other winners. This contest was put on by the new Primary Children's Extension
that is going in at our Utah Valley Regional Hospital.

Fun at Lowe's Extreme

Our cute little boy cousin met us at Lowe's Extreme and went home with us to play

Zachary is really fast at solving Rubik's cubes now -
his record for solving one is 1 minute 42 seconds.
His teacher even let him do it at school and tried to challenge him,
and also his mentor has challenged him, but Zachary remains the champ!

Trip to Washington D.C.

Gramercy Mansion - a bed and breakfast in Baltimore where Eddie and I stayed
one night since he had to meet with professors at Morgan State and Loyola

Granddaddy's Funeral in Arlington Cemetery

This was my favorite part - where Granddaddy's casket was placed on
a wagon pulled by horses. I also like the horse behind it that has boots
in the stirrups that are facing backwards - to honor a fallen soldier.

The whole procession and ceremony were amazing with everything done
precisely like the folding of the flag, gun and cannon solutes, etc.

All my siblings and cousins made it! (not all are in the photo, though)

We sure had fun at our family get-togethers! We had a pizza dinner the night
before the funeral and this is at a luncheon after the funeral on Friday.
We shared our feelings about Granddaddy and then played games. :) I love my family!

New Provo City Center Temple

Eddie and I hurried home after our family luncheon in D.C. so we could be
able to see Megan perform in the Provo City Center Cultural Celebration on Saturday

Eddie and I got to see the Temple Dedication in the Celestial Room on Sunday

On Sunday night (a week before Easter) all the family went to a family's house
in Draper to have dessert and have the cousins enjoy an Easter egg hunt.
