We had a fun visit with our friends from CA.

We took Megan's friend to the Mall and tried
their bungee trampoline - great fun!

The kids have loved having a trampoline -

we still let them jump, even after Megan's

accident two years ago. I'm sad the good

weather is almost over, so we'll have to take

it down - okay, so I like jumping too!

Eddie took the kids to Lagoon, where they met

up with my brother and his kids - the wives got a

day off! I had a good time catching up on my

to-do list and having a girls' night out with Eddie's

sisters. Joshua loves the "Wicked" ride - he took

this picture below.

We had a fun stay at the Homestead over our

Fall Break. The "Spooky Hollow" carriage ride

was great fun!

We also had fun in their mineral pools.

And Joshua and Megan swam inside the crater!


Joshua and Megan also had fun playing tennis.

The Homestead had several scarecrow displays -

this was our favorite.

We enjoyed the BYU Homecoming Parade - nice

to have Eddie in town this year!

This was Zachary's favorite - he's a pirate at heart!

(Or that's what he wanted to be for Halloween.)

The kids had fun at a cousin Halloween party.

Pirate cousins - Zachary's cousin wanted to

change from Spiderman to a pirate to be able

to fight together.


The kids were great at raking leaves this fall -

and jumping in them (or posing) :)

Megan designed and carved a couple pumpkins -

I roasted the seeds - yum!

We had a fun date with friends to dinner and a

spooky Heber Creeper train ride - adults only!

Eddie went to CA to see his friend's son (his

partial namesake) get baptized.

We decorated our car for Trunk or Treating at

the church and had a great time!

September 2009

We took a gondola ride up the mountain at

Sundance, and then hiked to Stewart Falls - it

was a really fun date, and very beautiful there!

We went to the cabin for Labor Day - the kids

love sleeping out in a tent when we go.

Zachary loves the slingshot.

Megan and I went on a hike and

collected flowers and fall leaves.

Megan pressed some of them.

Joshua is a great shot with the bb gun.

Then the kids enjoyed the bouncy toys at

Park City.

Zachary started Preschool at BYU -

he loves it and has the same teacher

that Joshua and Megan had - she

remembers us and loves Zachary!

Our "Pop-Pop" rode his bike all the way from

Washington D.C. to Salt Lake City. We met him

at "This is the Place" monument when he finished.

Way to go!!

Three generations went on a manly adventure

together hiking up Mt. Timpanogos and camping -

this was Joshua's first time - he was excited! It

was only a couple days after "Pop-Pop's" bike

ride - a little too soon, as he discovered when

spraining his ankle (at least on the way down).

Joshua and I have gone on a few bike rides together

along the Provo River trail and even around Bass

Lake this summer - Joshua is trying to earn a

biking merit badge.

We went on a family bike ride with "Pop-Pop"

and took a stop at a fun swing beside the trail.

We had fun going up the gondola in Park City

and going down the Alpine slides - the Fall

colors were beautiful!
