March 2010

It's a Girl!!
We're so excited, especially Megan! These
ultrasound pictures aren't super clear, but the
baby is waving at you in picture one, and is
showing between her legs in picture two.

Zachary got to babysit "Webbie" for the weekend -
this tarantula (from BYU Preschool) was not as fun
as their bunny to take care of.

We are in the process of getting a new shower in our
basement bathroom, and we even got our sewer pipe
moved out of the middle of the room:) The old shower
had been leaking out into the hallway and the sewer pipe
was really rusty and clogged - the plumbing is all new
now and we're just waiting for the tile man.

Megan is in front playing the flute in her Spring
Concert for Timpanogos.

Joshua played the trumpet in his Spring Concert
at Dixon Middle School.

Megan had fun in her hip-hop dance performance.

We had fun with the kids and a couple of cousins
at the Science Palooza in town. Zachary wouldn't
try out this rolling "doughnut", but Joshua and
Megan loved it.

We had a family dinner at Los Hermanos and
celebrated Joshua's 13th birthday a few days
early. Can you believe we have a teenager?!?

On Joshua's birthday he took some friends and
family rock climbing at the Quarry in Provo, and
we had a blast! Eddie and I got to belay the climbers.

Then we took everyone to Pizza Doc's for dinner.

Joshua wanted brownies for his birthday, but
we couldn't light the candles at the restaurant,
so here he is at home for the final celebration.

Eddie won a BYU contest to present the best
Communications speech and won some good
money as well. His sisters and I all enjoyed
his presentation and then a nice luncheon at
BYU's skyroom restaurant with the award
donors.

Zachary is on a soccer team with his neighborhood
friend. He's enjoying it a lot more than last year!

We ran into Cosmo at the Brick Oven Restaurant
and he was nice to pose for a picture with the kids.

February 2010

We had fun ice-skating again with friends.

We enjoyed our beautiful niece's baptism.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a fun ward dinner with jugglers
who juggled everything, including torches,
which they allowed Joshua to pose with.

Zachary had a fun 5th birthday party
at Pirate Island Pizza Restaurant - he's
taking after Joshua in his choice of attire.

Fun pirates sang a birthday song to Zachary.

The kids had fun at Jump On It with their friend.

Joshua finished up his Jr. Jazz basketball season
as the MVP of his team.

Megan's room - I had to take a picture before we
remodel it when the baby comes - Megan wants
more grown-up decor, but she's going to share with
the baby, so we'll see what we're having and then
see about redecorating.

We're Expecting!!

This time all is looking good at about 13 weeks and the
doctor is really optimistic about not miscarrying this one.
The heartbeat is really strong and so far no defects can
be detected, and the baby is really active inside me.
We will keep you all posted in the next month or so about
whether it's still alive, and if it's a boy or girl!

January 2010

Joshua and Megan made this snowman
together in our front yard - all the pictures
turned out blurry - too bad! Then we all got
the stomach flu for the first few weeks in
January, except Eddie - lucky guy!

Joshua and Zachary made this snowman together
in the church parking lot across from our house.
Then they rode their new bikes, too.

We enjoyed our second cousin's baptism.

Joshua, Megan and Zachary helped take care
of the neighbors' dog when they were gone
for almost 2 weeks. It's much easier to do that
once in a while and not have to have our own dog!

Zachary did math instead of drawing pictures
while waiting for food at the Spaghetti Factory:)
Joshua decided to follow his example and worked
on an algebra problem.

We enjoyed a Jazz basketball game in Salt Lake,
where they blew out the Nets.

We sat by Joshua's Jr. Jazz team, who went, too.

Eddie, Joshua and Megan enjoyed skiing at Alta
after the temple and basketball games on Saturday
morning, Jan. 30th.
We also enjoyed a BYU vs. UofU basketball game
in Provo with some friends. Zachary enjoyed the
binoculars.
