March 2011

Emma is starting to eat a little rice cereal and
vegetables - she likes her new booster seat.

We enjoyed a cousin's baptism!

We had a fun time at the BYU Bean Museum with some cousins!

Zachary did not have a good time at the dentist -
he had to get a couple cavities filled for the first time!

Eddie took Megan with him and some BYU
students to California to see some schools and
the International Folk dancers.

Joshua and Megan had a nice Spring Concert!

We enjoyed touring the Carl Bloch exhibit at the
BYU Art Museum with some cousins.

Joshua turned 14 years old!

He loves brownies better than cake, so I made
him these brownies, but then put the candles in
too soon, and they melted until they were really short!

Uncle Canyon is back from his mission - this is
his first time seeing Emma!

The kids had fun climbing at the Quarry - Joshua
went a couple times there and once to a place in Sandy.
Joshua and Canyon will have a lot of fun climbing outside
when the weather gets better!

Joshua and Eddie went skiing with Canyon at Alta.

Emma loves her new exersaucer!

This was us watching the final BYU basketball
game with Grandma and Canyon - too bad they lost!
Emma was even wearing her BYU cheerleader outfit!

Megan got braces! Yikes! She's cute, though!

Emma just loves eating her toes!

Isn't this outfit so cute? Thanks, Amy!

This is Emma's nursery.

Zachary had fun at his first soccer game - he
has a lot of friends he knows on the team - fun!

February 2011

Emma can sit a little!

Megan took Emma to her bed early one morning,
where they both fell back asleep.

Eddie took down the lights with a neighbor's lift,
and his dad helped hold it.

Joshua and Grandpa Carter building another test
bench for the Eagle Project.

Happy Valentine's Day! We love each other!

Happy 6th Birthday, Zachary!
We had a neighbor make balloons for the kids.
They also played pin the soccer player on the
soccer ball, hide and go seek, had a cup cake walk,
ate pizza, and had a treasure hunt for treat bags.
It's a good thing Eddie and Megan were there to help!

Joshua finished building 16 benches for his Eagle
Project with lots of help from family and friends.

Zachary built a snowman the morning of the Eagle
Project, but by that night it was falling over.

I can't seem to get Emma to smile for pictures!

January 2011

Happy New Year!
Zachary just decided to read the Book of Mormon
on his own! He has already read several chapters!

Joshua is a great basketball player on the Jr. Jazz team
and on his Young Men's team.

Megan is doing great playing basketball with
the Young Women this year.

We had a fun family outing to the Mayan Restaurant -
we're watching the divers here.

Then we went to a movie - Emma's first time!

Megan played a flute solo of "I Am a Child of God"
with a friend accompanying her on the piano for
Young Women's New Beginnings night.
Joshua has started his Eagle Project - he is sitting on
his first bench he built (with his dad's help) - the benches
will be for the Stake Girls' Campsite.

Joshua and Megan went skiing with their dad for
Martin Luther King Day.

Zachary, Megan, her friend, and I went sledding
after it snowed - not a lot stuck, but it was still fun!

Joshua built a snowman in our backyard after it
snowed a little.

Joshua had fun on a Scout Klondike snow camping
trip - his dad went, too, even though he was sick!
