May 2016

Emma just loves puzzles!  We let her put the Mario puzzle together
all by herself the 3rd time she wanted it put together - we did show her
where a lot of pieces went, but she put some together by herself. :)
Fun times with a favorite cousin
Pretty princesses!
Eddie took two big packages down to Chile on a BYU trip, and
then flew to Argentina to see people in Mendoza and sent the packages
to Joshua by bus again - just like last Fall.  I had so much fun making cookies
and getting stuff for Joshua to fill the packages and to last a long, long time. :)

 Cinco de Mayo Carnival

Pinning the mustache on the principal at a school carnival

Happy Mother's Day!

Skyping Joshua was awesome!!  I miss him, but am so proud of
what a great man and great missionary he's growing to be!!
Megan made a surprise dinner for me in the basement for Mother's Day.
She's so great!  I love my kids and am so grateful for them!

We love babysitting for our neighbor :)
Emma loves her cape :)
Chillin'

At a free 4H marriage retreat at Daniel's Summit (near Heber)
We had a great time and learned a lot, but forgot to take photos :)
Our friends were able to go, too - it was near their anniversary
and my birthday - fun times!

Backyard fun :)

Eddie had a man in our stake fix up the jeep - no more rust holes, etc.
Joshua will be excited to drive this again after his mission - Eddie
and Megan sure enjoy it, too. :)

Megan's Graduation

Congratulations to our beautiful and awesome daughter,
Megan, who graduated with Honors! She was very dedicated
and organized, and had a lot of fun in high school. :)

At a graduation celebration lunch - at Station 22.
They have awesome sweet potato fries and sauce!

April 2016

April Fool's Day

April Fool's "poop" cookies my friend made :)

Eddie in India

Skyping with Eddie while he was in India
Eddie spoke at a Conference at Ansal University (a law school) in Delhi, India.

Spring Break

We did a couple puzzles while watching General Conference
and during Spring Break
This was a super hard puzzle that is 300 pieces,
except it was missing 4 pieces - straight out of the box,
brand new.  It was still fun. :)
Emma wanted to put the Mario puzzle together 3 times in a row -
the 3rd time we let her put all the pieces together, but helped show
her where to put a lot of them.  It has 550 pieces!  She also loves her
smaller puzzles and building structures with her magnetic shapes.
I made cookies for missionaries and neighbors - fun flower plates :)
We played at parks a lot during Spring Break - gotta love the great weather!

Emma had fun flying her kite when there was a little wind
Fun times with the air rocket blaster
Zachary helped me with pruning and smashing the prunings
down in the "green" trash can. :)
Eddie came back from India during Spring Break and we rode bikes
a few times together along the river trail.
We love the tree swings by the river!
I love my bike!
Eddie also got our trampoline put back up
We had a picnic on Sandy Beach for FHE
We enjoyed an awesome General Conference with Elder Ballard!
Emma and her friends kind of all matched :)
Zachary got an award on the "Red Carpet" for doing
great film making in his 4h class.  We watched one main
film there at the awards ceremony and it was awesome!

Eddie ordered Zachary a 4x4 Rubik's cube and he solved it on the first day!

Prom

Megan's friend who works with her at Macey's
asked her to Prom on her car while it was parked at work.
She only saw 3 balloons by the time she got out to her car
after work - 2 had popped, so we only got 3 balloons with
her response.  We saw this photo later. :)
Going undercover to Maceys to buy balloons for Megan's friend
who asked her to Prom - she wanted to answer him and spell "yes"
with glow sticks on his car and balloons for him to find when he was
done working at Macey's, and we had to try and avoid him. :)
We successfully got the balloons undetected :)
Megan's response to her friend while his car was parked at work.
Megan and her friend went to a fun game place where they joined
a team of other Prom-goers and followed clues and tried to solve
a mystery before another team did.  Fun idea for their "day date."
Then they got dressed for dinner and finished early, so they had me take
photos of them at the Provo Library where their Prom dance was.
I was so glad they did, since I got the best photos there!
We got early photos of "Promenade" where couples get announced
and walk down the library steps while parents and friends watch -
good thing, since it was a lot darker and rainier when the real
"Promenade" happened.  Megan and her date were the first couple then.
Megan was tripping on the step and laughing -
that was exactly what she wanted to avoid
during the real "Promenade."
An early photo in the library ballroom before the actual dance.
Emma loves to help make cookies!
I got a frame and made cookies for a couple in our ward who got married -
they had cupcakes at their reception, but wanted some of my super
delicious cookies there, as well.
We got Zachary's scout uniform - his 11-year-old
scout troop is finally having meetings
Celebrating Pop-Pop's birthday at Chuck-a-Rama :)
Zachary and Eddie hiked to the Y - of course they picked the
worst time of day when it rained and hailed on them!
