July 2009

Happy 4th of July!

At our Boy Scout 4th of July breakfast

Joshua got to serve sausages (the bishop's wife caught
him sneaking one when he wasn't supposed to :)
At the breakfast before the parade

At the Stadium of Fire (we're tired out after driving
back from New Mexico the day before, and after the
breakfast, parade, 7 Peaks waterpark, and a carnival.)

SheDaisy performed at the Stadium of Fire.

Then we really enjoyed the Jonas Brothers singing!

We had a few fun trips to the cabin by Park City.

We had a sleepover with some cousins.

At a fun campfire in the pit Eddie built.

Megan loved the Alpine coaster in Park City.

Great view going up. . .

Joshua at his last State Playoff game, which he won.

Zachary enjoyed the Discovery Park
during Joshua's games.

Megan at her last day of BYU Cheer Camp.

We loved our family reunion trip to Bass Lake,
California, by Yosemite. We stayed in a very nice
lodge on the lakeshore.
Amazing view from the hot tub on the patio
Amazing view from inside the lodge

We enjoyed our private boat dock.
Fun boat ride

Joshua is great on the wakeboard, going in and
out of the wake.

Eddie enjoyed single skiing and wakeboarding.
My brother was the master of jumping the wake!
Fun ride on the Mega Wing - new toy

Lots of cousins!
The kids did fun crafts indoors - this was a cool
leaf-rubbing by Zachary.
We made nice flower clips for our girls.
The kids made fun faces from natural items
found outside around our lodge.
Robyn brought great beads for making jewelry.

We loved the rock slides we found in the river
that runs into Bass Lake - that's me trying one out.

Beautiful swimming hole above one of the
waterslide areas.
Those are my crazy brothers!

Zachary didn't enjoy the rocks and
water as much as the rest of us.

Eddie and my brothers had fun golfing a couple
of times - a sister-in-law joined in once.

On our hike to a waterfall in Yosemite

We found a fun area to play and swim in - it was
fun to swim down with the current and then walk
back upstream to do it again!

A late Pioneer Day celebration after Bass Lake.

Kimber,
I LOVE your blog - so much it almost inspires me to do one for my family! I would not update, so what is the point. You do a fine job. I love to see that pictures with captions. Can't wait to see August and Lake Powell!
