August/September 2010

Megan's 12th Birthday - she brought friends and
cousins to Marinello's to get their hair and nails done -
they turned into beauty queens!
Megan had a party afterwards at our new house
that we hadn't even moved all the way into. She
loved her cookies and cream cake.
Then everyone enjoyed a pinata in our backyard.
Later Megan and Joshua tried the Hurricane
Simulator at the mall.

After Eddie went to Denver and then helped
move us more into our house, we all went to
Bear Lake for a Copa family reunion - here some
of us are at an overlook of Bear Lake.
I had fun on some boat rides.
The water was cold, but beautiful and fun to swim in.

We really enjoyed the ATVs at the nice lodge we
stayed in - even with me being over 8 months pregnant!

Joshua and Eddie.

Megan and Eddie.
Zachary and Eddie.

All of us together in the sun in front of the lodge.

For Girl's Night Out we enjoyed a dinner and a
play at the Pickleville Playhouse - it was great!

Most of our group went to see the Minetonka Caves.

I had a nice baby shower at work - here's what was
left the next day.

The Copa Lake Powell trip was right after Bear
Lake. I stayed home since the baby was due anytime.

Joshua was great on the wakeboard.

Lots of carp off the back of the boat.

Rainbow Bridge
The boat wouldn't start after seeing Rainbow Bridge -
they ended up driving home in the dark after delays.

Zachary had fun in his new bedroom with his
cousin who stayed with us after Lake Powell.

We took Megan to get her ears pierced at the mall.

Celebrating Eddie's birthday - we had a fun dinner
at the Brick Oven with Grandma.

In the last week before the baby - I can still smile!

It's a girl!!

August 31, at 9:07 p.m. Emma Kathleen Carter
was born, and was only 7 pounds 2 ounces (thank
heaven - our smallest yet!) and 20 inches.

Zachary's first day of Kindergarten! His Grandma
was so nice to take him and take pictures!

Zachary couldn't wait to hold the baby after school!

Joshua got awarded his Life badge at a Court of
Honor.

Joshua pinned the Life pin for mothers on me
at the hospital.

Going home - with beautiful roses from Grandma!

Baby's first bath.

Everyone loves holding Emma!

Labor Day party with the cousins - Emma was
almost a week old!

Joshua and Eddie hiked up Mt. Timpanogos
together - they made it in 3 1/2 hours.

Our beautiful Emma!

Emma is beautiful! What a packed post-vacations, ear piercings, and a first day of school. You all look so happy. Congrats!
