November 2015

So fun and silly!
We enjoyed a Sunday walk around the Provo Temple
Emma loves her matching outfit with her doll
My wonderful grandfather passed away on Nov 4th - we sure were glad to
see him last year, and we will miss him, but are glad he has joined our
beautiful Grandma Vivi!  We will get to see his burial in Arlington Cemetery
on March 18, 2016 - long wait due to other burials scheduled first

Our Young Women in Excellence Night - I had to give a talk
Megan's display table showing her talents in tennis, photography,
interior design, and in making a temple out of wood blocks
with the wording, "Come Unto Christ"
We had fun at a Parent Night at school
Emma had fun at her friend's birthday party
We had fun hanging out with friends
Beautiful sunset from our backyard
Beautiful sunset from Grandview
Some of our students who got awards at our Reflections Awards Assembly
Zachary and Emma with their awards - Zachary got the highest score
on his writing, out of all who wrote stories

Happy 20th Anniversary!!

We ate at the Pizza Noodle restaurant in Park City
Then we stayed at a hotel in Park City with the kids - we had already gone
alone twice to the Westgate Resort in the last month for teacher conferences

We enjoyed the hot tubs - it was a cold night, but worth going to the hot tubs outside
Beautiful hotel pool with two hot tubs to the side - no one lasted long in the pool

Thanksgiving with the Carters

Most of the Carter family posing at a church after eating our Thanksgiving meal

Lake Powell

Our 20th Anniversary present - a timeshare on this houseboat.
We drove down to Lake Powell after Thanksgiving to check it out,
but couldn't get on the boat without the owners there.
Enjoying the boat ride to look at the houseboat
Nice view from our hotel balcony
We climbed off our balcony and hiked around on the rock by Lake Powell
We walked over to look at more houseboats

 Goblin Valley

We had a fun time exploring around Goblin Valley - it was cold,
but not so windy like in April when we came last, so less sand in our eyes
